Google tests further Bingification, adds site previews to search results

Bing has rather quietly been developing into a competitive Google alternative. It's got some very nice features -- even Google thinks so. At least, we can assume they do, since they're testing another Bingesque feature right now.

As The Next Web reports, Google is playing with the idea of displaying website previews when a user hovers over a search result. Bing, of course, limits its previews to text snippets -- Google is opting for a screenshot-style image instead. Consider yourself flattered (again), Bing!

Site previews are only available to a limited number of users at the moment, so well keep you updated if and when Google decides to roll out the feature to everyone.
